General Features

This is a carbon rod racing shoe, ideal for marathon, half marathon, and long runs. I have tested it in various races and training sessions and consider it one of the best options for half marathon to marathon paces.

Fit & Comfort

True to size, with a wider forefoot that provides comfort over long distances. The heel is rigid, but with proper lacing, it offers excellent lockdown.

Performance

Soft, responsive, and protective ride, especially for midfoot and forefoot strikers. The carbon rods add stiffness in the heel, offering some stability for heel strikers as well. The midsole is well-balanced, making it suitable for different paces and even slower marathon runners.

Best Use:

Marathon / Half Marathon / Long runs.
Not ideal for 5K–10K, where I prefer the Adidas Takumi Sen 10 or the Nike Vaporfly 3.

Stability & Transition

Although it is a racing shoe, it feels more stable than other carbon shoes due to its wider outsole. It has a rockered feel, with smoother transitions improving after a few runs.

Durability

Very durable for a racing shoe, with a rubber outsole. With the release of the new Adios Pro 4, the Adios Pro 3 can often be found at a good discounted price.
